July 1, 2009 – Canada Day Festivities – Tyrwhitt Conservation Area, 7 p.m.
Bring your own picnic or buy hot dogs and drinks available under the tent.
Some family games. Small “toonie” auction at 7:30 p.m. Free Canada Day
Cake; served by Mayor Black and Councillor Underhill from 8-9 p.m. Watch
the fireworks from 9:45 to 10:15 p.m. Presented by the Kettleby Village
Association with assistance from Heritage Canada.
July 25, 2009 – Humber River Shakespeare: Twelfth Night – Tyrwhitt Conservation
Area, 7 p.m.
“Humber River Shakespeare” is a professional touring Shakespeare company.
They perform as they did in Shakespeare’s day: in the open air, with a
love for language and poetry, and a belief that theatre and its players,
are vital to the community. “Twelfth Night” is a romantic comedy of mischief,
foolery and practical jokes. Admission: pay-what-you-can at the park. Suggested

September 12, 2009 – 33rd Kettleby Fall Fair – Tyrwhitt Conservation Area,
10 to 5 p.m.
The “biggest little fair in Ontario” has a kick off parade (12:00 noon). Gates open at 9:30, all day entertainment, craft show, adult and children’s games, exhibits, loonie draw and lots of great food. Admission is $7 per adult, $4 for Senior and $2 for each child 12.
